Why TOEFL iBT?

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) is the world’s most accepted English proficiency test for North American universities, plus thousands of institutions in Canada, Europe, Australia, and the UK.

Unlike other tests, TOEFL focuses on integrated skills – reading, listening, speaking, and writing combined in real academic scenarios.

“If you’re applying to US or Canadian universities, TOEFL is still the gold standard.”

Key Advantages of TOEFL:

  • Accepted by 11,500+ universities in 160+ countries.
  • Integrated tasks (e.g., read a passage, listen to a lecture, then speak about both).
  • No face-to-face speaking – you speak into a microphone.
  • Unlimited score reports for 2 years at no extra cost.

Our TOEFL Course Modules

We break the TOEFL iBT into 4 sections – exactly as tested:

1. Reading (30–40 questions, 54–72 minutes)

  • Topics: Academic passages (history, science, arts)
  • Question types: Factual info, inference, vocabulary, sentence insertion
  • Our strategy: Skimming vs. scanning, time management per passage

2. Listening (28–39 questions, 41–57 minutes)

  • Audio types: Lectures (3–5 min) & conversations (2–3 min)
  • Question types: Gist, detail, function, attitude, organization
  • Our strategy: Predicting questions while listening, accent neutralization

3. Speaking (4 tasks, 17 minutes)

  • Task 1: Independent (personal opinion – 15 sec prep, 45 sec speak)
  • Tasks 2–4: Integrated (read/listen + speak) – 30 sec prep, 60 sec speak
  • Our strategy: Templates for each task type, fluency drills, pacing

4. Writing (2 tasks, 50 minutes)

  • Task 1: Integrated (read + listen + write 150–225 words – 20 min)
  • Task 2: Academic Discussion (respond to a post – 10 min)
  • Our strategy: Paraphrasing techniques, grammar variety, typing speed

New for 2024: 2026 TOEFL now has a shorter format (under 2 hours) with no unscored section.
