Duolingo Test Structure – What to Expect
The DET is adaptive – the questions get harder or easier based on your answers. It has 4 main components:
Part 1: Introduction & Setup (5 minutes)
- Verify your ID
- Show your room (360° camera scan)
- Ensure no other people, phones, or notes
- Rules: No looking away, no typing assistance
